Hi I'm Brittany Jo

I’m from Arizona and I’m a cowgirl! I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my family, and I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Texas but Arizona is now my home. I love the Sunshine and beautiful winters in Arizona! I attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. I was then married to my husband almost 5 years ago in the San Diego Temple. We have no children yet but hope to have some one-day. Horses and horsemanship have always been personal loves and passions of mine. I own two beautiful Friesian horses.

Why I am a Mormon

Service is something that I am passionate about. I serve not only in church but involve myself in the community as well. I am apart of a local group that performs at rodeos but also serves countless hours in the community working to promote the importance of our western heritage. I love serving people in the community. Making someone else’s day makes my own day full of happiness and joy. Jesus Christ is the center of this gospel. He was charitable and helped many during his mortal ministry. I try to exemplify and follow his example in my day-to-day life. I love our Savior Jesus Christ and all that he has done for me. Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis has been a trial in my life. There have been moments where I have struggled to walk and been in severe pain. I have had some difficult times, but because of my faith I have been able to get through. I try to always see the positive side of life. Sometimes we face opposition in our lives and do not understand why? Opposition and sorrow are necessary for us to grow and progress. We should not be afraid of trials or be discouraged by them. By staying close to our Heavenly Father we can have the strength to overcome our afflictions and our trials will be for our gain. I know that there is a purpose for every trial we go through. Trials bring us closer to our Lord and Savior. I am thankful for my trials and all the blessings in my life. My testimony of the gospel has given me strength to get through this health challenge. I know that our Heavenly Father lives and loves each of us. We are his sons and daughters and he has a plan for each of us. I know that Jesus is the Christ. He is our Savior, our Redeemer. He suffered for us so that we may repent and come unto him. This is the true church and Jesus Christ is the center of this gospel. By living the principles and ordinances of the gospel we can have faith to overcome all things.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith every day by being a true disciple of my Savior Jesus Christ. Some of the ways I do this is by showing kindness to others, sharing the gospel, and serving others. I am currently serving as a Young Women’s President. I have a special love for working with the youth. I find joy in helping them understand their full potential and love helping them in various aspects of their lives. By being a Young Women leader I strive to help them develop their own testimonies and to prepare them to be successful women, mothers and wives.
