Hi I'm Jared Walley

I grew up in eastern Washington state, I'm currently serving a 2-year mission in Wisconsin, like playing hymns, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play the piano, and I appreciate music a lot. It helps me to feel good, and realize just how good the gift of music is. It is truly a gift from God. I have spent 2 semesters at BYU Idaho, and I am majoring in accounting at the moment.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is a better way to live. This isn't to say the other religions are bad, but with the Mormon church, you can really feel this sense of family and belonging, regardless of where you find a congregation of LDS members. I also found my testimony in the Book of Mormon, and can testify again, that it is the truest book on this earth, and along with the Bible and other modern revelation, can bring us the greatest feeling of peace written word can give. I can also testify that Christ is the Son of God, the source of my salvation, and yours.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being honest with people. I try to tell them how I feel, without hurting their feelings in turn. I seek to serve when I can, and try not to overstep my boundaries. As a missionary, I testify of the truthfulness of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I share the message that God speaks to man again on earth today, through a modern day prophet.
