Hi I'm Lucas Saylor

I grew up in Washington. I have four brothers. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in the Texas Lubbock Mission. I graduated High School in June 2014. I have earned my Eagle Scout. I am deferred at BYU-I where when I return home will be studying Human Biology. Some of my hobbies are playing sports such as basketball and football I also enjoy anything that involves the outdoors such as hiking, swimming and camping. I also like to workout and run in my spare time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have a testimony that the church is true and that we have living prophets on the earth today that give us guidance and inspiration for our everyday lives, I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it is another testament of Jesus Christ and his ministry on this Earth, I know this because I have read it and prayed to know if it is true and I received the answer that is was true. I know that if we pray for understanding, that the Lord will answer our prayers, and that when we need help he will be there to strengthen us.

How I live my faith

Some of the things that i do daily are attending all four years of high school seminary (morning). Another important activity is home teaching which I and my companion complete every month. As a missionary I have the opportunity to share the gospel daily and help others come to our savior Jesus Christ. One way that I keep myself focused is by reading the scriptures daily and applying the things that I learn.
