Hi I'm Karen

I am an outdoor enthusiast. I love to swim. I'm a Mormon

About Me

i love anything outdoors: camping, hiking, repelling etc. Being outside and being with friends and family are some of my favorite things. The outdoors are somewhere i wish i could just stay in all the time. Hiking is one of my favorite past times. If i could choose between a hike or taking a nap i would choose a hike i love them so much. I have been a competitive swimmer for 10 years. I am an art Major in College. I love to read a good book. I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons). I am currently Serving a mission in the great state of Minnesota!

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church, the things taught help me understand why i am here and what my purpose is in this world. i was born and raised in the church but i didn't really know much a about it i just went through the motions and did what was expected of me. While following the expectations is a great thing to do i wasn't sure if that is what i wanted or if i really believed what was being taught. it wasn't until i was about 12 that i really found out for myself that what i was doing and what i believed in was really true. i spent weeks praying and reading from the scriptures in hopes that i could get my answer it didn't just come but slowly through my thoughts and with feelings i just knew that it was the right thing to do. Watching all the happy people and seeing the joy they got out of really knowing the truth made me want that. i finally found for myself that this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is the true church and is the joy and happiness that i had been looking for.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by sharing it with as many people as i can! serving a mission for the church and spreading the "good news" to all i meet!
