Hi I'm Sophie

I'm an author/singer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of six children of a yours, mine and ours family. My father has battling with heart failure since I was six years old, in the long run I am grateful that I have been living with this because it shows me how strong my dad and mom are. I love to spend time with my family, going shooting with my brothers, swimming, riding horses. I'm an aspiring author, singer and artist so many times I have been thrown down but I know this is what I do best. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into the church, my parents never forced me to go. I choose, even at a young age to be a member of His church. When I ever I go to church or to an activity it feels like I am coming home. The warmth and love I feel is so strong and when I asked the Holy Ghost if this church is His church I got an overwhelming feeling of love and a still small voice telling me yes. Every since that day when I was six, I have never wavered because I know this church true. And that Heavenly Father and Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith and the he has a living prophet today Thomas S. Monson that He guides and leads. And that the Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Bible. I am so thankful that I have this gospel and that I know I can live with my family forever, also that Jesus Christ died for all of us and will lift you when you need it the most, even if you don't know you needed Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living it, helping people out every chance I get even if I don't know them. I just joined the Young Single Adult ward and I love going to my classes and actives. Before I was with the young women in my family ward, I was the counselor for my age groups and sometimes it seemed a great burden but it was and is a great blessing. It taught me to express my ideas more and not be so shy with people. Going to girls camp taught me how to save a life and bring myself closer to Heavenly Father.
