Hi I'm Edward Blow

I was born and raised in England. I live in Cornwall, England, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying Mathematics at University. I enjoy playing football and will play whenever the opportunity arises. My favourite football team is Manchester City. I am the only person in my family to have joined the Church, and I joined in November 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I met with the Missionaries on the streets, and we started talking, I didn't really want to talk to them at the time, but something inside me didn't want to say no to them, so I listened, and they asked me whether or not I thought The Lord was really there, and I wanted to know whether he was, and they said that I could find out for myself. They invited me to Church, and one of the members sat next to me and talked me through everything that happened at the Church that day. I was still a little bit hesitant to joining, but when the Missionaries phoned me up I couldn't say no, like before, so after a few weeks of lessons with the Missionaries my baptism was coming up, and I still hadn't had an answer, as to whether or not the Church was true, but a week or two before my baptism I was reading through the Book of Mormon and thinking about my baptism, and who should baptise me, and as I was thinking of one of my Missionaries, my heart started glowing, at the time I thought: 'This is nice', But I didn't know what it meant, I decided to pray and ask and found out that that Missionary was the one to baptise me, so I thought to myself: 'While I'm here I'll pray about the Book of Mormon' So I prayed and through 5 chapters of the Book of Mormon my heart glowed, so I came to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church and that the Book of Mormon is true and is the word of God.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Ward Missionary at the Plymouth Ward, in England, and I will go teaching with the Missionaries whenever I can. I attend the Stake, and Ward, young adult study session of the scriptures every time there is one.
