Hi I'm Tyson

I'm from Canada, and grew up in Idaho. I am currently serving a mission in the Kansas Wichita Mission. I love Cars guns and sports

About Me

My name is Tyson French. I was born in British Columbia Canada, and have lived in both Canada and the United States. When I moved to the Boise Idaho area in 3rd grade, I met people who have influenced my life permanently and brought me closer to Jesus Christ. I absolutely love cars, guns, and being outdoors with those I love. I love frisbee sports, especially disc golf. I haven't attended any college yet, but plan to go to be a mechanical engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a member family, my dad having been from a long line of members, and my mom being a convert. I grew up in the church participating actively and enthusiastically until my teenage years. I went to High School and attended seminary, and always went to church with my family, but for a large portion of my life, religion was just a part of my life because I was born into it. After High Schhol, I left home and drew away from the church a bit. I filled my time with working and my own interests. While I was working building houses, many people became large influences in my life and helped me come back. I came to the conclusion that I should go on a mission. I am currently a missionary serving in the Kansas Wichita Mission, the best mission in the world!!! Serving Jesus Christ as one of his representatives has increased my faith and love for him so much. He has changed my life. I know he is my lord and savior, and because of him, I can be who he wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings regularly (keeping the sabbath day holy), learning about Christ in the scriptures, and currently, serving a full time mission in the Kansas Wichita Mission from August 2014-2016. Serving as an unpaid minister has brought me the closest to Christ, and it has given me a faith to live by.
