Hi I'm Enoch Jones

I grew up in Utah. I am taking a break from my schooling at BYU, Provo to serve a mission in Ukraine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I have five brothers and one sister. My amazing mother chose to homeschool all of my siblings and me. During my childhood I learned to enjoy many different activities. I enjoy crafts such as wood working and metal working. I enjoy being in nature and being with my family. Music and dancing are two of my favorite pastimes. I am competent on the piano and am proficient on the bagpipes. I was a member of the Utah Pipe Band for five years before I went to collage. I enjoy ballroom dancing and have competed and performed for the past four years. I recently finished my first year at Brigham Young University where I am studying to become a Civil Engineer. Currently, I am serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in L'viv Ukraine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I have had it affirmed to me over and over again by the Holy Ghost. I am a Mormon because I want to be joyful in life and following Jesus Christ is the only way to find full joy. I am a Mormon because I want to be the best person I can. I want to grow and develop for all eternity. I am a Mormon because I want to raise a family of righteous individuals who will strive to make the world a better place, who will build a future I can be proud of, who I can be with for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best person that I can. Every day I try to improve. I show my faith by being happy, being productive, and helping others. I am trying to find joy in this life that I may have joy in eternal life after death. I am truly convinced that if everyone would try and be honest and kind then we could solve most of the problems in our lives. I have never had super prominent callings or positions in the church but that is okay. I try to serve the best I can in the positions I am given. I played the piano in priesthood meeting, I am a home teacher - visiting and caring for families in my ward, I helped organize ward dinners every Fast Sunday. Simple jobs that need to be done. I enjoy doing them and try to serve the best I can.
