Hi I'm Gene André

I'm a Filipino, a Missionary in London, and I am a Mormon

About Me

Hey I'm Gene Andre, and I'm from the Philippines! I love to sing, dance, draw and cook! I've also been to Indonesia and lived there for a while during High school. Then I went back home and finished my first year in Electronics Engineering. Then I decided to stop and prepare for my Mission. Now I'm serving in the blessed land of London!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of this church has made me understand how our Heavenly Father really loves us. That there is something more beyond the world we live in. I chose to be a Mormon because we can be with our families together forever, with our Father who is in Heaven. The Gospel has helped me and my family become closer and more united. Families are ordained of God, they are the most basic foundations of this Earth. We can become something even greater, day by day, and this is due possible because of the atonement of Jesus Christ. We can become stronger everyday, as we accept our past and move on. I know this to be true, and I leave my testimony in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

As of now, I am serving as a missionary for the Church. As a missionary, I preach the gospel to everyone who is willing to listen to us and learn more. Of course more important than teaching things about the gospel, is living them. I believe that service is the bottom-line of how I live my faith. As King Benjamin says in the Book of Mormon "...that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17)
