Hi I'm Alecia

I am a musician, a dreamer, an aspiring doctor, an elephant lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Virginia Richmond Mission. I love learning, listening to uplifting music, and spending time with my family. Music has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy singing, dancing, musical theater, and playing the clarinet. I absolutely adore elephants and can't get enough of them! I love the gospel and the light and hope it brings to my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Conversion is a life-long process. With every new day and every new trial, I hope to become more converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I took a big step forward in my own personal conversion after an extremely difficult trial in my life. During my trial, I felt so alone and helpless. It wasn't until I turned to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that I was able to find peace and happiness in my life. The Atonement of Jesus Christ made me feel whole again and gave me the strength I needed to endure and continue to endure through life's hardships. Throughout my own conversion, I have come to know for myself that God will never leave His children comfortless and alone. He is always with us, extending His hand out to us. All we need to do is take His hand and follow His words. We can have true happiness in this life through our Savior, Jesus Christ, and obedience to the commandments. I am happier than I have ever been before because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I currently live my faith by serving as a missionary in the Virginia Richmond Mission! I live my faith and fulfill my purpose as a missionary by inviting others to hear the message of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and helping them apply it into their own lives. The Gospel truly blesses families and brings so much joy and confidence to those who endure to the end every single day. I live my faith in other ways as well. At home, I attend my church meetings regularly as well as the temple. When asked to serve in the church I do it to the best of my ability. I study the scriptures and pray every day for guidance and for help to become better through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Another way I live my faith is by doing my family history work! I love knowing that my family is an eternal family because of the sealing power found in holy temples. I find so much joy in taking my own family names to the temple to give them the opportunity to be together for all eternity. Families are meant to be eternal and, as a missionary, I do all I can to help those I teach enjoy the blessings that come from making further covenants in the temple.
