Hi I'm Anders

I have four amazing sisters. I'm a Mamma's boy. I am learning the Marshallese language. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm sharing my beliefs about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to God's children in Texas, Fort Worth. I am learning how to speak Marshallese. I grew up in the mountains of Utah but moved to Virginia when I was nine. I love my family and friends and I love spending time with them. I plan to study business at Dartmouth College.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my testimony. I know too much to be true to even question my choice. I know that priesthood power is here on the earth today. I know that as we listen to the counsels of prophets and apostles, we will be blessed beyond imagine. I know that temples are sacred and the work that goes on in them is truly special and amazing. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet who was visited personally by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know this all personally and with out a doubt. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving the Lord and doing what he has asked of me. I read the Book of Mormon and pray to my Heavenly Father daily. I go to church every Sunday to feel the Spirit and to build my testimony in Christ and his true church. I go to the temple as often as possible. I try to follow Christ's example and serve others whenever I get the chance. I love my family and try to set a good example for my two younger sisters. I try to love all of God's children as he does. I am currently setting two years of my life aside to preach His word and to bless other peoples lives. The gospel has brought so much joy to my life and I want all of God's children to have the same love and joy in their lives.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Anders
We believe that God gave us families because he loves us. Families are given to us to bring joy and happiness into our lives. Some of life's sweetest joy can come through our family associations. As we accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ and follow His example we can live together forever with our families. I know that these relationships can go past death and that we can truly be together for eternity. I am forever grateful for the chance that I have to be with my family forever. Show more Show less
