Hi I'm Mallery

I live in Alberta, Canada with my family. I like to play the guitar, sing, spend time with family and friends. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love playing my guitar. Writing, finding different chords, making something up, I love being creative like that. I have attended one year of college, studying in the General Studies program, with most of my classes focused on the sciences. After school I made the decision to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have received my call, and am preparing to serve a mission in the Canada Halifax mission. Sharing the gospel has always been a part of who I am. It makes it easier when I love being around people and learning from them and their experiences in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel has given me the happiness that I can't find anywhere else. There are things in this world that will try to make one happy and find joy, but I have found that long lasting happiness is not found in what man can create but what God can. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope. It gives me hope to be a better person and a chance to prove to my Savior Jesus Christ, that I can be clean enough to live with Him again. That is my greatest desire, and I know that it is possible because I believe in Him and what He has done for me.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I have been called to teach Primary to the 4 year-olds turning 5. I have only been teaching for about 2 months but I enjoy it so much! Little kids have such a special spirit about them that just invites the spirit and a yearning to follow Jesus Christ.
