Hi I'm Richard

I'm a college student and a heavyweight wrestler. As of right now I am sharing my faith in Antofagasta Chile. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Because I am a student athlete, I spend my days training and drilling. When I am not with my team, I am in class or studying. I am an Eagle Scout and I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and being in the mountains. I am learning woodworking and have about 5 years of experience. I am skilled with Dutch Oven cooking and my ribs and cheesy potatoes are the best.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is vital to me. My grandparents have passed away in the last few years. I miss them. The Gospel helps me to know of God's plan for me and that death is a temporary separation. I know that we can be together again as a family through the saving ordinances of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

Serving others is important to me. When I help others, it helps me forget my troubles and focus on the needs of others. I have enjoyed making blankets for the Linus Project, gathering household goods for the new refugees in my state, mentoring younger boys in Boy Scouts, and working with my former high school wrestling team heavyweights.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

My family is my foundation. We laugh together, spend time together and help each other. My parents teach me to be responsible, kind and help me with decisions. I know that my family is there through good times and bad times. Our relationship is eternal and that is important to me. Show more Show less
