Hi I'm Caroline

I am Canadian, I love to hike, cook, eat, read, and enjoy the outdoors. I am preparing to serve a LDS mission, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

For most of my youth I grew up in a National Park, then for my senior year of high school me and my family moved about 45 minutes from there. I love to hike, cook, eat, read, spend time with my family, and spend time in the great outdoors. I graduated from high school about 6 months ago, and I am now preparing to leave on a LDS mission in 28 days!!! I am so excited!!! I am the youngest of seven children, and have 8 nephews and 3 nieces (soon to be 4).

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of the church, but when I was truly converted was when I read the book of mormon all the way through for the first time. This book testifies of Jesus Christ and is the key to our religion. The end of the book has a challenge to pray and ask if the book is true. It also has a promise saying, that if you do that then you will have a confirmation through the Holy Ghost that it is true! I wanted to know for myself if the book was true, so I accepted the challenge and prayed and asked God if it was true. As I was praying I felt a burning in my soul, and I felt all warm, and I started to cry. I knew from past experiences that I was feeling the Holy Ghost testifying to me that the Book of Mormon was true. As I have read it several times through more throughout my life, there is no doubt in me that it is not true. I know that the characters in the book have lived before, and that they saw Jesus Christ, and witnessed miracles that he performed. I know that only through Jesus Christ we can be eternally happy. When I follow the commandments from God I feel so happy! I am so grateful for the gospel, and I am so excited to share it with others.

How I live my faith

In my ward I am a Nursery leader, I play with and teach little kids from 18 months to 3 about Jesus Christ, along with 4 other leaders. I have only been in Nursery for a couple months, but I really love the children, and look forward to seeing them every week. Every day I study the Book of Mormon and apply its teaching to my life.
