Hi I'm Hailey

I'm an artist, a dreamer, a writer, an adventurer, a daughter, a sister, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Art flows in my veins, it's part of who I am. I draw, I sing, I fiddle around on the piano, I create worlds with a pen and paper, and I dance like no one is watching(and most of the time no one is .... thank goodness ! ). Other than my hobbies I'm the oldest of four all of which I tease, love, and adore. I love to travel. My favorite place to be is by an ocean, holding a book , and if by chance there is orange juice and grapes also included this imaginary picture, I would be in heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was brought into this world, I was part of the church. My parents were members, and when I was eight I was baptized and made a member of the church. But just because I was born into the church doesn't mean I've never had a choice. If I wanted to I could stop being a member of this church, I have that choice everyday, but I don't and won't make choice to leave. There is something so amazing about being a Mormon. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the whole wide world, for me this is the true sense of corruptible happiness. I am a Mormon because it feels right, it whispers hope to my heart. It enables me things to look forward to the future with hope, to trust in the lord, and enables me to have strength that I wouldn't find else where.

How I live my faith

I have never really had to think about how I do it, it's made me so much of who I am that's hard to separate between how I live and how I live my faith. I guess you could say my faith lives in me not the other way around. I attend church every Sunday, I feel the spirit, I go to the temple, I help out others. But honestly, It's my faith that gives me the strength to continue, to be strong. I live my faith by doing the things that savior would do. I am not saying I am perfect, because honestly I am not. I try to do the simple things like reading my scriptures, saying morning prayers to ignite that flame of faith. And when I struggle it's my faith that picks me up and carries me back to where I belong.
