Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a Utahan, I Love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Favorite things to do is spend time with family and friends, mountain bike, airsoft or paintball, or any sports or anything outdoors. I am a computer programmer, I do 3d, and love technology! I just returned from a mission in Chile, and work as a Web Developer.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it gives me a direction in life. Without the church, I would have been lost a ling time ago. Once I was at a point where I was lost, and I had no where to turn, everything I worked on was failing. I knelt down one night, and just prayed, for direction, for hope, for instruction, for anything to help me. I got up off my knees, and opened my scriptures. they fell open to D&C 6:36 - "Look‍ unto me in every thought; doubt‍ not, fear not" (https://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/6?lang=eng) It gave me the hope I needed to keep going, and the verses just before it gave me the direction I needed. I learned that God knows me personally, and he knows what I'm going through, and he wants to help me. You just have to listen to him, and let him come into your life, and if you do, he'll help you more then you could imagine. I come from a very large family, and during tough times the gospel is what holds us together, it has blessed me more then I ever thought it would.

How I live my faith

I Live my Faith by trying to surround myself with the Gospel. I've found the more interaction I have with the Gospel, and the more I come close to Christ, the more guidance, and blessings I find in my life.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

I believe that the Church has grown so much because in these troubled times, people are looking for something solid to hold on to, and to build a family on. It answers the biggest questions people have, concerning the meaning of life, where we go when we pass away, and where we have come from. The church provides stability, both temporal and spiritual. Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, Mormons definitely are Christians. We believe that Jesus Christ came to earth, received a body, and suffered for the sins of all mankind, so that we can return to God. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

I very strongly believe that there is a Living Prophet today, Chosen by God to lead his children, and to receive counsel and revelation for them. Prophets are an essential part of Gods plan for his children, and help them come closer to both God the father and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
