Hi I'm Tylan

I'm an actor, I'm a musician, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a missionary in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh mission. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I was born and raised in a little town in Alberta, Canada. As a kid I spent most of my time on the stage. Whether it was singing, playing instruments in a band, or acting, I loved lifting people's spirits through the few talents that I have been given by God. This love for Music and for preforming was instilled in me by my wonderful mother, who was always sharing her amazing piano playing skills. Now my next 3 youngest siblings were raised by my mom. She always amazed me what she was able to accomplish as a single mother. Fortunately for her she had the help of my grandparents and aunts and uncles to bring up 3 crazy boys and 1 sassy girl, and, when I was 8, she got remarried to a new guy who has now become my dad. Along with this new dad I gained 3 new siblings and then later gained another 2. Life has been a crazy ride but it has all been worth it. I now have an amazing network of family that I can call on, even though when those extra siblings first came into my life I may not have wanted them. I know that those 4 brothers and 4 sisters will be there for me to the end

Why I am a Mormon

I Was raised by a single mother who always taught me to follow the teachings of the church and the principles I learned since I was little. Now that I've grown I've stayed apart of this church because I know that it contains the fullness of the gospel and that it teaches us how to return to our Heavenly Father and that is the most important goal in my life

How I live my faith

As I prepare to serve a fulltime mission for the lord I attend mission prep classes on Sundays and Thursdays. I am currently teaching the 6 year olds. They are such a blessing to teach and learn from.
