Hi I'm Dawson

I grew up in Southern Alberta. I love playing sports, including baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I just finished my last semester of High School and am leaving on a mission this summer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Cancun, Mexico! I have 4 siblings, a twin brother, and three younger sisters. I love to play sports, it kinda runs in the family! As you saw in the introduction, I play a few different sports. Baseball and basketball are by far my favourite of all. Baseball is ultimately the sport I love most. I also love hanging out with friends and playing the occasional video game. Once I return from my mission I plan on going to University somewhere in the United States to play baseball, and going as far as possible with baseball.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well I was born into the Church, so that had a big influence in my life. I still remember times when I questioned if this Church was true, despite being brought up in a family that lives and loves the teachings and principles of this Church. I guess I can say I am a Mormon because it brings true happiness into my life! No one is perfect, we all make mistakes and thats why I love this gospel so much because we can be forgiven of the things we do wrong. I can honestly say that this Church has changed my life for the better, and it can change yours too!

How I live my faith

I live my faith to the best of my ability. I attend church every Sunday unless I am sick or dead. I have a few different callings in my church ward. I am a home teacher and my companion and I have three families to teach. Our responsibility is to watch over our three assigned families and to visit them once a month and teach them about the church. I enjoy doing this because it provides an opportunity for me to get to know these people better and gives me a chance to share with others the joy and happiness the church brings to me.
