Hi I'm Meg

I'm a Canadian, theatre student, and astronomy buff. I love life! I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've always liked stories, which shows in my love for writing, theater, and Disney movies. I wrote and directed a musical for kids right before heading off to university, where I discovered that I LOVE to learn. I mean, who needs video games when they can be spending their time studying things like the CIA, ballet, and Tycho Brahe (who, incidentally, had a metal nose)? I love languages and travel. In my opinion, variety is the spice of life. (Except at lunchtime, when I am perfectly content to eat Moroccan chickpea soup EVERY DAY.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom was a journalist and my dad has always been into the hard sciences, so I was raised with a mind that wants THE TRUTH. As I have studied and prayed, I have learned for myself that this is the true church of God. I love my Savior. He is my very best friend. As I live the gospel, my relationship with Him grows. There have been times when I have felt my world crumbling around me and I have turned to my Savior and felt the strengthening power of His Atonement. I know that the leaders of our church are called of God. I know that the Lord has a plan for His children and that He has restored His church with all the tools we need to make it back to Him. I am a daughter of God. I know it, and I love it.

How I live my faith

I am serving an 18-month mission in Winnipeg. I am a hard-core believer in doing the 'small and simple' things we learn about as kids. I study my scriptures and pray daily, attend all my church meetings, and go to the temple regularly. I love people and hope that in taking opportunities to serve them, I can help them to feel the love of their Heavenly Father.
