Hi I'm Sandra

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and love it! I am a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, wife and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to two beautiful little girls and a wife to wonderful man. I am currently the Young Women's president of our ward and I LOVE IT! I am finishing up my bachelors degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. I hope to be done by December of 2014. I work full time and love my job. I love a challenge and I love to think outside of the box. I don't have a lot of hobbies, but I do love reading Pride and Prejudice adaptations and I love a good movie. I love girls night outs and serving others. I love chocolate and I love to exercise. I have passion to do good in the world and I love to laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a convert to the church as a teenager and through her faith and her example, I was brought up in the church and chose to be baptized at 8. I did wait a year so that I could be baptized with my younger sister and my older sister. What a wonderful memory to have. I had wonderful teachers and leaders and have always felt loved. Through their example, I wanted to be the best mormon I could be. I learned through the Faith in God program the basics of the gospel, then I advanced to Young Women's were I completed the Young Women's program earning all of the medallions. I also completed the girls camp program which allowed me to shine and become more outgoing. As an adult, I have now had the opportunity to serve in many callings and I have learned through motherhood the unconditional love my Heavenly Father has for me. I love being a mom even with all of the trials, but I know that my Heavenly Father is with me every step of the way. My husband is not a member, but he supports me and loves me. I know that one day we will all be sealed together for eternity. Family is forever and I am thankful to be a member of a larger family unit through the church. I am a mormon and I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply and honestly. I know I don't know it all, but I am willing to go the extra mile to learn. I love to serve and I have loved every calling that I have held thus far. My faith is my foundation, my anchor and my companion. Each decision I make, is done with my faith in front and I service with a full heart. I love the visiting teaching program because it not only helps those we visit, but it helps me to serve more each day. I have fabulous visiting teacher and she takes care of not only me, but my family. I love the gospel and I am proud in the good way...to be a mormon.
