Hi I'm Marinda McKenzie

I love hiking. I am fascinated by the world of business. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love being outdoors. Hiking and long walks are a couple of my favorite activities to do. I love to travel and have been many places throughout the United States learning more about my country or just seeing new places. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family most of all because I love developing relationships with people and getting to know them as individuals. I am a freshman studying business, but I have taken a break in my schooling to serve an 18 month mission for the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

There have been many times in my life where I have been faced with difficult challenges- illness in my family, death, loneliness- and I know the reason I have made it through them with a positive outlook and having grown stronger is due to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He lives. The words of His ministry have always touched me and given me an example to follow. I love Him. I also know I am a Child of God. This knowledge has helped me keep perspective when times have been rough. I know that because of God and Christ's love for me that I am never alone. They are only a prayer away.

How I live my faith

I have grown up a member of the LDS church and live my faith in various ways. I love doing service. It always brings a smile to face knowing someone else's day was improved, even if it was just by a little. I have helped organize service projects and youth activities which has helped me meet many new people. Also, when I travel, I have shared with people I meet about my faith by acting as a disciple of Christ and showing kindness. Everyone deserves to be loved.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Marinda McKenzie
Absolutely not! We help anyone who is in any kind of need. From cleaning up after a natural disaster to offering a shoulder to cry on, we are there to help and serve everyone. That is why I have chosen to serve a mission. I want to go help and serve those around me whether we share the same faith or not. Show more Show less
