Hi I'm Micaella Beckstead

I've lived in Utah my whole life, and I've always knew this church is true. I'm a Mormon and proud of it!

About Me

There are five things you should know about me. Number 1: I love Disney, and no one loves Disney more than me, well maybe Walt Disney. Number 2: I believe that Family is the most important thing. Number 3: I love to laugh, and I do it at least 25 times during the day. Number 4: I can be very stubborn. Number 5: I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As for hobbies and interest; I like to sing and dance, I took normal dance classes up until I was 12, and then in High School I took 2 years of Ballroom. Right now I'm preparing to Service an LDS Mission, and I can't wait!

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a Mormon. My older siblings, however, are no longer active in the Church, and all of them started to fall away in High School. Most people are afraid of getting bullied or failing their classes and not being able to get in to college, but I was afraid I'd loss my testimony and my beliefs. I was terrified. I could say that my testimony was strong or my faith in God and his Son were steadfast and that's way I didn't follow in my older siblings footsteps, but I know it's because I prayed. I prayed for God to be with me and to keep my strong. And He has, because he loves me. He has never let me down. My older siblings are good people, and they've been good examples to me in many ways.I love them. My "conversion" story has to do with my years of High School. I can't pin down one great big example, but I do know that because I prayed for God to be with me, that I am still a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to service an LDS Mission in Texas. knocking on doors, and sharing the happiness that I have found through my own conversion.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Micaella Beckstead
We, you, and I can all improve our faith in Jesus Christ. I believe that the first step in doing so, is letting him in so that are faith can increase. Sometimes we can do the standard; "Go to Church," "Read the scriptures," "Listen to the Prophets," "Visit the Temple," and all of these will help, but first we have to look inside ourselves. We can pray and pray and pray until we are blue in the face, but if we are just using our words, and not our hearts, he can not reach us in order to help us. Where do we fill the spirit? In our hearts. Sit in a quiet place for a few minutes and listen to your heart. Does it feel open or closed? If it is Closed, fix it. Find out why and resolve the problem. If it is open, then always start out with a prayer, and then listen and wait for God to tell you the next step. Show more Show less
