Hi I'm Penny

I am 53 years old, a wife of 34 1/2 years, a mother of eight and a grandmother of eighteen, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I stayed home and raised our eight children, three of whom chose to join the Army. (Two currently serving and two son-in-laws serving also). We now have eighteen grandchildren with another on the way! I am just now learning how to do genealogy. It is quite addicting! Lol I am also taking time to do some crafting, sewing and quilting among other things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints thirty five years ago. I was sealed in the Washington D.C. temple to the love of my life almost thirty four years ago I was just sealed to my parents about a month ago in the Orlando, Florida temple. I love the church and the teachings, I feel so very close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the atonement of Christ. I am so blessed to have the knowledge of the Gospel. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet as is Thomas S. Monson is today. I know the Book of Mormon to be a true testimony. I have read and prayed about it, I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me this is true. I love my Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example to others. I currently visit sisters in our ward and enjoy doing so. The sisters of our Church are very special. We all come from diverse backgrounds and have so much to learn from each other. I also serve on the activities committee for the sisters in our ward. I love to serve others in any way I can.
