Hi I'm Heather

I grew up in Texas. I love music, theatre, and superheroes! And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! And all kinds of TV and movies. I really like comedies! College student with history education major. I play violin and piano. I'm in theatre and I love performing and singing! I love to spend time with my family. And I'm really into social media like Tumblr and Facebook. I love to make people laugh and I hope you can get to know me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true! And it makes me so happy to know that there are prophets that can lead and guide us through the trials and challenges of today's world. I love the feeling of peace and assurance that comes from living the way that the Lord has asked us to. I've experienced the love and joy that comes from repentance and having the spirit to guide me. In the gospel, I have leaders to guide me and I also have the opportunity to be an example and a help to others. I don't know what I would do without this church and this gospel. I never have to feel like I don't know where I'm going in life or what my purpose is. I have a firm testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ and the restoration of His gospel in these latter days. I know that the Savior died for all our sins and that because He did this, we can live with Him in heaven. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I've read it and prayed about it. I know that we can receive personal revelation by living the way that our Heavenly Father has asked us. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in every way possible. I enjoy going to church every Sunday where I serve by helping take care of young children in nursery and primary. At school, I try hard to "practice what I preach," by dressing modestly, refraining from harsh words, and trying to be like the Savior by loving and serving those around me. I'm currently preparing to serve a full time mission, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Santos Brazil mission.
