Hi I'm Bonni

I live in Texas. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite thing to do is to go hunting with my Dad. I have a little cat and a big dog, they make me happy! I'm a newly wed, I love to cook, decorate, and organize. I'm a college student and the oldest of three sisters. My family are my best friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church and I gained a testimony of it while I was young. Having the gospel in our family growing up I saw blessings come to our family that I knew were from Heavenly Father and I began to know that Heavenly Father loves me and my family. Because my family was raised together in the gospel we were able to grow close together, that is why they are my best friends. As I've gotten older I've had opportunities strengthen my testimony by obeying Heavenly Father's commandments myself. I know that when we live the way that Heavenly Father has asked us we will receive blessings. Although I have been a member of this church my entire life I am still always learning. Every time I read the Book of Mormon I gain testimony that it is true. I'm so grateful that not only do we have the Book of Mormon to learn about the inhabitants of the Earth before us and to teach us about Heavenly Father, but that we have a living prophet and apostles today to give us guidance in this latter-day from our Heavenly Father. This is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it's gospel brings peace and joy to my life and my desire is to bring others unto Christ.

How I live my faith

I am a Ward Missionary and Family History Specialist in my ward (congregation). As a Ward Missionary I work with church missionaries weekly to invite people to church, help visitors feel welcome in our meetings, answer questions, and share my testimony of Jesus Christ and this restored gospel. As a Family History Specialist I help teach people about the importance of doing family history and work with members of the ward who would like help working on their family history. I'm also called as a visiting teacher to a few sisters in our ward, I try to visit these women once a month to share a spiritual message with them and see if they need any help from me.
