Hi I'm Edgar

I'm a missionary from Idaho serving in the Macon, Georgia mission. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm the oldest of 5 kids. I've lived in Idaho my whole life up to the time I decided to serve a mission. I have now been serving in the Macon, Georgia mission for 6 months. I attended Idaho State University before my mission and will continue a degree in Computer Science working towards a career in cyber security as soon as I return home. I love to play all sorts of sports, but by no means am I a noteworthy athlete. I've spent quite a bit of my days engorged in video games as well. That's a modern day teenager for ya!

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen the importance in obedience to gods laws and completely understand that all these commandments we have are for the building and edifying of our own spirits and apply very much to our eternal salvation and eternal families. I know that it is through no other church that we can overcome spiritual death except it be through this one, because of the Priesthood authority that allows us to be baptized and cleansed of our sins. I know that having a living prophet on the earth will give me the best chance possible to be prepared for that great and marvelous day when Christ will come again. I hope to be able to stand at his side and be a missionary for him in the last days. That is what I strive to achieve through being a Latter-Day saint!

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have been an active member of the LDS church, but never truly understood the importance of attending church and allowing god into my life until I choose to serve a mission. I feel like serving this mission has given me the chance to be humbled. I have diligently studied the scriptures, learned to be bold and loving in all my encounters with my fellow man, and I have learned how to truly use the Holy Ghost in my life. The mission has taught me the importance of exact obedience in being worthy to hold this priesthood authority god so willingly entrusted me with. I love that he put me in the south and has given me such an important and crucial work to do. This mission will be a foundation in which I will govern and live the rest of my life.
