Hi I'm Alicia

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a singer. I´m a missionary in Oaxaca. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love singing, baking, and playing the piano. I also love playing sports, even though I fall flat on my face...a lot. My goal as a career is to become a medical doctor or a professional chemist. I love chemistry...a lot. I've sung in choirs, a lot in my old high school, which I graduated from in 2013, and now I´m using what I learned then and in studying singing on my LDS Mission in Mexico, Oaxaca. My family is really important to me, because, with all 10 of us, we can have a great time, become really close, and learn to live the gospel of Jesus Christ together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior. Jesus Christ is one of my best friends, and I know I can turn to him whenever I would like to talk or ask for help. I also have a testimony of this gospel, and I know that by following it, I can return to live with God with my family. I know that through the Atonement of Christ, ALL mankind may be saved, no matter what we've done. There is nothing more important to me than following the gospel and choosing to follow the Lord. I also know that the gospel has brought me untold happiness, not only to me, but to my whole family, and that without it, my world would be a place without color, and without joy. I can´t imagine my life without the knowledge that I have now. God lives, and he loves us.

How I live my faith

Right now, I´m living my faith by serving a mission for the Lord. This means devoting every hour of every day to serving him and helping to share his message of love and what we must do to have eternal life and to live with our families forever. I live my faith every day by being the kind of person, the kind of child of God, that he can be proud of, and that he can trust with his work to help his children to come unto him. I also live it by smiling and being happy, because the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes people happy. It gives us the opportunity to achieve so much in this life and in the life to come that we would never, ever be able to achieve without God with us.
