Hi I'm Taylor

I'm an avid reader, and an aspiring writer. I love sewing, watching movies, and traveling. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in an LDS family of seven. We homeschooled, and moved around quite a bit, and as a result we are a very close family. I love spending time with my brothers and sisters whenever I can. I also love to read. My favorite genre is historical fiction (especially romance!), but I'll read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. As a result, I think, of my love of literature, I love to write, too. I'm majoring in English in college, and my favorite classes that I've taken have been Writing Fiction, and Writing Poetry. In my spare time I like to sew. Anything from dresses, to quilts. I love working on sewing projects while watching movies. My taste in movies is just as varied as my taste in books and music (which I also love!). I'm also a pretty big nerd, and I love anything related to Doctor Who or Star Wars (among other things).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and grew up with the faith that God was there, and that He loved me. This faith has shaped my life in countless ways. As I've grown older, my testimony has only grown and strengthened. Throughout my life, and through many very difficult struggles and trials, I've felt the peace and love of the Spirit, strengthening me. This feeling of peace is what guides me, when I would otherwise be lost. I always want to live in such a way that I can have the spirit with me. I believe with all my heart that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, and that it is the only way to return to live with Him. I will do all that I can to become the kind of person He wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, sharing the gospel with the wonderful people of Mexico. I try every day to become a better missionary, so that I can better represent The Lord, and His church.
