Hi I'm Alexander

I was born and raised in the deserts of Arizona, I am going on a mission to Great Britain, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I am also a college student, working on my undergrad at BYU Provo. I am an exercise-oriented person, enjoying the more peripheral sports of Volleyball, Swimming, and Ultimate Frisbee. Even more than that, I enjoy wholesome parts of pop culture, I am an avid fan of Star Wars, Avatar (bending), Marvel, and a good video game. I enjoy thought-provoking questions and conversations. Growing up in Arizona has endowed me with a strong love for the beauty of nature, so much of which I have found in my own home region.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have had a wonderful life with my family, so much of this happiness can be attributed to my parents' insistence threat we always adhere to the standards of the Mormon Church. I have been blessed with an open mind and I know that the standards the Church puts forth for its members to follow have proved over and over to steer those who uphold them away from so much guilt, sadness, and despair that you see so often in the world. These benefits are just the tip of the iceberg, however, I am a Mormon because I believe the Church to be true, I have received a testimony over my years of it's study that the Book of Mormon is the holy word of God, and that a reader can get closer to God by abiding by its precepts than by any other book, as the prophet Joseph Smith (the book of Mormon's translator) stated.

How I live my faith

I enjoy teaching my class of 11 year-old young men, they are much wiser than I was at their age, I have enjoyed my callings in the church that have included leadership roles in my Church group. At BYU I was privileged to serve in another one of these leadership opportunities and teach my fellow members at school. Very soon, I will begin my full-time missionary service for the Church, I have been assigned to labor in Birmingham England.
