Hi I'm Kashlee Valle

I grew up from a divorce family in New Mexico, I am Navajo and Peruvian, I love to play the Flute, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child of two. I am half Navajo and Peruvian. Things that I love to do on my free time is play my musical instrument which is the flute and love to play volleyball, and I'm also hand on with crafts and working hard. I have been crocheting since i was in the 3rd grade and love to horseback ride. I am currently serving a mission in the Tulsa Oklahoma Mission, where I will be serving for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

The first thing that some people think of when they hear the term "Mormon" is the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. How he was a young boy who attended the churches that his family went too. Although he went to church he saw that they were each teaching something different. So at age 14 he prayed to his Heavenly Father to ask which church he should join. Before I was 8 years old ( the age to be baptized) I want to have my own testimony that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the true church. Being 7 years old, I had my mom drive me to different church and attend them. I did this for a period of time and them did what Joseph did. I kneeled and prayed with my Heavenly Father and asked if any of the church were true and which one I should join. Then I asked again if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the true church on the earth today. The answer I got was that, there is a restored church here on the earth today that is true and that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and that I was to join it. Later that year I turned 8 and was baptized.

How I live my faith

There are many ways that I have lived my faith. One thing that people have noticed as well as I, is that I try and love others and invite them to the activities that the church holds. Before I chose to go on my mission I was the Family Home Leader Mom. This is where I was assigned to be with a family and make them feel as we were a family and I as their mom. I shared my testimony with them and made sure that they knew I had a deep love for them!
