Hi I'm Kelli

I grew up in St. Johns, AZ. I am a mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a single mom of two beautiful kids! I'm kind of shy at first, but once you get to know me I can be quite sarcastic. I like to exercise. My favorite is walking, Zumba and bike riding. I love to laugh and I try to do it often. I am in school because when I retire from my current job, I would love to have something to fall back on. I would really love to be able to run a charity or start one of my own. I work to bring awareness to Post Traumatic Stress and Suicide Awareness and Prevention since my husband died by suicide because of PTS. I love to watch football! I absolutely love the rain! I am the first one out when it starts and I have taught my kids that it is so much fun to play, walk, dance, sing or do just about anything in the rain! I sing all the time and most of the time I don't even know that I'm doing it. I sing in the shower, at work, in the car, and even in the grocery store.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My family has been members for several generations back. I love the gospel. It gives me such peace and happiness. I know that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I know that he came to this earth to suffer and die for us because he loves each and every one of us. He was resurrected and after his resurrection he visited the people in the Americas. I know that we have a living prophet today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that if we repent, we will be forgiven of our sins. That is what the Atonement is for. I know that our Savior knows us all personally and that he suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane so he would know us. He knows our struggles, our illnesses, our joys, our sadness. I am so grateful to him and for what he has done. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I was a teacher in the women's program that the church has. In years past I have taught the Young Women and I was a cub scout leader.
