Hi I'm Wyatt

I live in Utah. I've been called to the Warsaw, Poland Polish speaking mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the local jack of all trades. I've done everything from melting metal in my back yard to building my own remote control airplanes. I've cold forged my own hauberk using wire I purchased from Lowes. I built a spot welder from the parts of an old microwave and some monstrously thick wire. I went to college for a semester, opting for a commercial pilot major, since flying is my dream. I was recently called to the Warsaw Poland Mission, and I'll be leaving on the 9th of April for the MTC.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and never really thought about it until I was older. When I was about fifteen, I got pulled in to some very unwholesome activities, and it continued until I was 18. At that point I was tired of addiction ruling my life and making me question my faith, so I prayed for the strength to resist, and visited with my bishop. Gradually, with guidance from both God and my bishop, I was able to recover, and find greater strength through the gospel and the atonement of Christ. The blessings of a clean life have given me the desire to live the gospel thoroughly, and to serve a mission as a representative of the Savior. I know I'm being sent across the seas to share the blessings I've received. I may only be able to share them with one person in those two years, but even then, that one person will be enough.

How I live my faith

This is hard for me to answer, because faith plays such a massive role in my life. It's hard to name all the things I do as I live my faith. I live my faith by serving others, and showing a willingness to serve others. I attend church services, and go with my father to teach other members in their homes. I will soon be serving a mission, requiring the most time and dedication of anything i've ever done. I'm nervous, but I have a strong desire to help and serve the children of God.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, we are Christians. Our faith is built on the teachings of Christ. We pray, and give worship in the name of Jesus Christ. We love him. We strive to be like him. We learn from him. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No, we do not worship Joseph Smith. However, we hold him in the highest respect, just as we hold every prophet of God in the highest respect . We are grateful for his example of exact obedience to God, and the great example he was as a leader and a man of God. Because of his obedience toward God, an essential testimony of Jesus Christ; a second testimony, even the Book of Mormon, was translated into the English language. Do we worship him? No, we don't, but we will be forever grateful, and we will ever remember "Brother Joseph". Show more Show less
