Hi I'm Amy

I am a mother and a wife. I teach, I clean, I run, and I love. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I went to college, married young, and graduated in finance. I didn't work in finance long before deciding to be a stay at home mother. I love numbers, budgeting, and managing our personal finances. I also love to exercise, especially running. Being the mother of 6 young children, I have found exercise to be an essential tool to my mental health! I try to find the humor in my crazy little ones and like to record the funny things they say and do...and sometimes even better, my equally entertaining reaction. Every day as a mother and wife, I am filled with joy, awe, frustration, exhaustion, and hope.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me joy. I know where I came from and where I am going. I love my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ more that life itself. I am determined to return to Them. I know this church to be true. It provides all of the correct ordinances of salvation and truths that will guide me on the right path. No matter the storms I have faced in life, I have been able to find peace and strength through my testimony and the comfort of the Holy Ghost. Since I know this Church to be true, I am determined to do my best to bring those I love unto God as well. There is no greater joy that knowing that God loves me, and approves of my path, and that I am contributing to His work by bringing joy to others as well.

How I live my faith

Besides teaching about the gospel of Jesus Christ daily in our home, I teach it at church also. Many women in our church teach, and I help them prepare and give lessons each Sunday. There are a few specific women that I have been assigned to watch over and be a friend to that I have grown to truly love. I enjoy our friendship, praying for them, and striving to show them our Savior's love. Most importantly, I live my religion day by day through small things. I pray, I study the scriptures, and I testify through example and word in my home. I strive to make Jesus Christ the center of our home.
