Hi I'm Michael

I'm an Ohio man born and raised. I love The Ohio State Buckeyes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work in the insurance industry and have a degree in Business. I have four kids and have been married for 11 years. I hope to be going back to college soon for a Master's degree. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I love movies and enjoy sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the principles it teaches. I love the concept of eternal marriage and families. I love the many opportunities I have to serve others and learn from many wonderful people about Christlike attributes. I have grown a lot since I served a mission from 1996-1998 in the San Jose, CA spanish speaking mission. I feel my testimony and conversion has finally taken root. I read The Book of Mormon right before my mission and found out it was true through a special experience I had with prayer. Since that time I have had many ups and downs but just about four years ago I finally understood what being a disciple of Christ really means to me. It means to be selfless, to be kind, to be charitable, to be loving, to be patient. It means to press forward with faith knowing good things will come and never losing hope in the author of my salvation. It may be tough but oh man, it is worth it! I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have participated a lot in my ward over the last few years. I have taught children lessons in Sunday School, helped guide Young Men in Boy Scouts and other faith based programs. I currently coordinate the activities of our ward mission. I help the missionaries in our ward find and teach people about the gospel. I also help the members of our ward in their efforts to share the gospel.
