Hi I'm Colby Bowles

I'm a Mormon and someone who is always improving for the better.

About Me

I'm the oldest of four. I love to perform. I love to make and see people smile and happy even through hard times. I love being outdoors. I love playing sports. I'm usually happy and smiling and having fun cause I've seen and been through hard times. I have had a ton of struggles as I go on through life. It has shaped me and helped me draw closer to Jesus Christ and God. I love my family. I love being part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love being with friends and playing games. I'm love being able to help others in anyway possible. Sometimes I'm not smart in some things but I do the best I can.

Why I am a Mormon

It helps me to be a good person. It helps me to learn and grow. I'm glad that I've looked and tried and experimented on what goes on in this church. It has changed me for the better. I have had some of the best experiences because I have found the truth. Indeed it does make me feel free. I feel like I have no limits. I feel unstoppable. I may be limited on my mortal side but spiritually I can do so much more.

How I live my faith

In what I do I always think of the Savior in my mind. I live my faith in how I act, think, dress, say and in other aspects in my life. Sure it is difficult but in the end it's worthwhile. By doing the small simple things and thinking more of others than myself, I experience more happiness than I ever knew. I used to get angry fast but I have learned that it doesn't solve anything. So I learn to stop, look and listen. Then I can hear what others are saying and more importantly what God wants to let me know.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Colby Bowles
It's like a normal person life. we work, go to school, go on dates, etc. But we always think of our loving Heavenly Father amd his son Jesus Christ. We always strive to do things in our lives the way They want us to act and do. We aren't much different from anyone else. We just want to be happy and have good in our lives. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Colby Bowles
A testimony Is a spiritual witness to each individual person. It is also stating what we know to be true and that's what we love to share the most. And we bare our testimonies to those who have questions on that subject. Missionaries, Church leaders, and others do it often cause we are sharing it with others. We want to talk with others and share our beliefs. I'm willing, wanting, and waiting to talk with anyone. Come and talk with us cause we love talking with everyone. Show more Show less
