Hi I'm Cambry Jensen

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I am serving a full-time mission in the Peru Iquitos Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child of three. I graduated from high school last Spring. I was attending college, but I am currently preparing to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love to run, play the piano, spend time with my family, and share the Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Father in Heaven and my Savior, Jesus Christ! The Gospel gives me purpose, strength, and hope throughout my daily life. I know that this church is the only true and living church upon the earth today!

How I live my faith

I have always tried to live what I believe. I attend all my church meetings and study the scriptures daily. I try to look at people with a Christ-like love, and I love serving my fellow men.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Cambry Jensen
Our Father in Heaven gave us our bodies and has told us that they are temples. A temple is a house of the Lord, so it needs to be clean and pure. Partaking of harmful drinks and drugs can harm us or make our temple spotted and impure. The Word of Wisdom is a list of Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Cambry Jensen
Mormons are Christians! The full name of the Mormon church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The doctrine of the church is based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ. Members of the church look to Jesus Christ as a Savior and Redeemer. He atoned for our every sin, sorrow, pain, or weakness and has saved us from eternal torment to deliver us and bring us to our Heavenly Father's presence again. We accept Him in every nature and worship and pray to Him. He is the head of this church. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Cambry Jensen
A testimony is a personal knowledge and witness given by the Holy Ghost that any individual can have that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. The foundation of a Mormon's testimony is based upon the doctrine that our Heavenly Father lives and loves us; Jesus Christ is Heavenly Father's son, and is the Savior of the world through the infinite and eternal Atonement; Joseph Smith was a true prophet and restored Heavenly Father's church upon the earth today; and Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet who leads the Saints today in the Savior's church restored on the earth today, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Show more Show less
