Hi I'm Kimberly Barlow

I am a happily married to my high school sweetheart and mom to three great kids.

About Me

I enjoy gardening and making our home a nice place to be. I'm a wannabe homemade bread and pie maker but have never figured them out. I do love spending time with my family. My children are the joy of my life and my husband still makes my heart skip even after 22 years of marriage. I have a college degree and look forward to working outside our home when my little one gets a bit older.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it helps me be a better person. I have opportunities to learn, serve and grow every day. For example, once each month my 92 year old grandmother (who lives next door) and I have the assignment to visit four specific women in our ward. We love them and serve them in any way we can. One of these dear women is also 92! For her birthday last month, we picked up her favorite lunch (chili dogs and lemonade) and we had a wonderful afternoon together. Being Mormon is a happy way to live and I wish all of God's children would have the opportunity to learn about the plan that our Heavenly Father has for them. Every person is unique and special and known by God. I invite any who don't know about this message to meet with our missionaries and find out or themselves!

How I live my faith

Having a knowledge and a testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ is everything to me. In trying to center my life on Him, I find purpose, meaning, hope and peace. I know that He is the way to happiness in this life. I know the teachings of the Gospel will keep my children steady and strong in a sometimes turbulent world. The Gospel enhances and enriches my relationship with my husband and through sacred covenants made in the temple, we can be together always. I am truly happy. Yes, challenges and trials come but when you have the knowledge that God knows you, loves you and has a plan for you, joy can be experienced even in the hard times.
