Hi I'm Jeremy Waite

I've lived in Moapa Valley my whole life playing sports and I am now serving in the GKLM. (Great Kentucky Louisville Mission!)

About Me

I love my family and I love the gospel. I know that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I am now serving in the Kentucky Lousville Mission and I love it. There is nothing better than serving the Lord full time for two years. It's truly amazing to see the Lord work through you to save others lives. I have played Football and Basketball all through high school as well as running track for 3 years. I love sports. Football was probably my favorite as I played wide receiver, corner, and also returned punts and kicks. I like to hike, hunt, fish, camp, go four wheeling, snowboarding, and basically anything outdoors. When I was 11, my father passed away. This was very tough for my family and I. Without the gospel, I don't know how we would get through it. Having the true gospel that God restored here on the Earth through the prophet Joseph Smith is a lifesaver for my family and I. I know that I will be able to return and live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and all of my family for eternity. I know this church is true with all of my heart and I love sharing it with other people so that they can have this peace, comfort, and happiness as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I received answers from God to know this church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and I cannot deny the truth which is in it. I have taken Moroni's challenge and prayed about it. I can feel the spirit often as I read and it testifies to me of the truth and the fullness of the gospel. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I owe everything to him. I cannot deny this gospel. I'm a Mormon because Heavenly Father has let me know that this truly is his restored Gospel here on the Earth. The teachings are centered on Jesus Christ and his example. Our beliefs keep families strong. We always strive to live what we believe. It's not a perfect church for perfect people, it's a perfect church for imperfect people.

How I live my faith

I participate by serving the people around me and by doing my best to live the gospel and keep the Lord's commandments. I am now serving a two-year full time mission. I serve the Lord all day every day because I love him and this is what he wants me to do. I know that as I make the decisions that would please him, I am becoming the man he wants me to be.
