Hi I'm Jean

I grew up in North Carolina. I'm a wife and a mother. I am trying to finish my degree in Psychology. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in North Carolina. A family of Mormons moved into the neighborhood and I asked them what made their church different. I joined the church a month before my sixteenth birthday. I served a mission in Salt Lake City and moved back to Utah to finish school a few years after my mission. I am a wife and the mother of a four year old little both with a baby on the way. I am currently trying to earn my bachelor's degree in Psychology with Liberty University online. My goal is to be a marriage and family therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I heard the story of the Prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. I prayed about the things I had learned from my LDS friends and the missionaries. I felt strongly in my heart that what they were teaching me was true. Even now, almost 18 years later, I feel the Spirit of the Lord testify that the things I learn at church and in my personal scripture study are true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in my every day life by following Christ's example and trying to improve myself. I have had a variety of callings throughout my church membership and right now I am serving on the Relief Society committee. I love the church and no matter what state I live in I always feel at home.
