Hi I'm Gabe

I'm a husband, a vegetarian, a mountain biker, a dentist, a dog lover, and a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Amish Country Pennsylvania in a family of five boys. In middle school and high school I was involved in music and theater. I went to Brigham Young University to study Bioinformatics, serving a two-year mission to Montana and Wyoming after my first semester. After college, I moved to Pittsburgh to attend dental school. I'm currently in a residency and will afterwords be working in a community health center in upstate New York. I enjoy the outdoors, playing with my black lab Cinder, and spending time with my beautiful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found peace, happiness, and truth by learning and following the teachings of Jesus Christ. During my two-year mission, I witnessed amazing transformations as those I taught strengthened their own faith. I'm a Mormon because I know that life continues beyond the grave, that families are meant to be eternal structures, and that Christ came to earth and suffered and died for our sins so that we may return and live with our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I serve in my congregation by helping the leadership organize and hold their meetings. I've enjoyed opportunities teaching classes, visiting members of my congregation, and participating in service projects. I try to live the principles of my faith outside of church by striving to be an honest, compassionate, dependable citizen, dentist, and husband. I follow Christ's example of service in a variety of ways, from fostering dogs that are awaiting adoption to volunteering for an upcoming medical mission trip to Guatemala.
