Hi I'm Hunter Miller

I'm a east high school graduate. A sports enthusiast. A missionary in the Rochester New York mission. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play basketball and football, and I like anything that involves sports. My freshman year I decided to stop playing football and work to make the basketball at East High School. After two weeks of tryouts I was the last person cut from the team. From that day on I decided to work everyday so that I could make the team. And after a year of practicing and working out I tried out again for the High School team and my dream of playing high school sports became a reality. I know that as we go about life there will be things that will discourage us and will not go our way but if we try our best and persevere then it will work out in the end.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and after 18 years of experiences and life I've come to know that this church is in fact the true and restored gospel on the earth. My junior year in high school I began to stop being involved in church and although I would go on sundays I was not involved and did not study scriptures or pray and I could tell that the more I did that the more unhappy I was and that I could tell there was a difference then when I was doing what I was supposed to. In the summer I began to read scriptures and pray and I surrounded myself with people who were uplifting and positive and I could tell that I was much more happy because I had the gospel in my life. And now I want to share that gospel and happiness with those in the Rochester New York mission.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in Rochester New York and I love teaching people about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Everyday I try to the best of my abilities to follow his teachings and commandments and do what he would want me to do and as I do that I am blessed beyond comprehension.
