Hi I'm Liz

I'm a Mormon wife, mother, and friend from Wyoming, USA.

About Me

I love our rural community both for its wonderful people and its outdoor mountain activities, especially the lakes. I have a husband and several children, one of whom has down syndrome. We own a small business that brings us in contact with and allows us to serve the great people in our area.

Why I am a Mormon

I love The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, mainly because it brings me The Gospel, or Good News, about Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I don't have a flashy story about my conversion because I was raised in the church, but as a child I recognized sacred truth when I learned about Jesus, and that deep understanding has been my rock and foundation throughout the trials of faith that have come my way. The Church has given me many blessings, a few of which include: --prayer (I am still learning about this incredible communication tool to speak with God), --scripture study (I love the scriptures as a source for truth!), --family (the importance of family and teaching my children because these relationships can endure eternally), --modern day prophetic counsel (God speaks!), --priesthood (God's) power (Christ's church and authority has been restored), --health (good health habits have been revealed and include moderation), --and revelation (God can guide each of us as we seek him).

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving each day to love and serve others in my home and in my community. I enjoy volunteering in the schools and on the local school board.
