Hi I'm Zander

I grew up in Burley, Idaho. I played football and basketball in high school. Im a mormon

About Me

I am 19 years old and have just graduated high school. In high school I was on both the varsity football and basketball teams. I was an honors student and finished high school with a 4.0 GPA. I like to read and cook. In the winter I enjoy skiing and in the summer I love to go out and surf or ski behind a boat. I am the oldest child in my family and I have four younger sisters. I have just been called to serve a mission in Cambodia.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I have enjoyed living it my whole life. I know this is the only true church on the entire earth and that the only way we can return to live with our father in heaven is through the teaching of the church and Jesus Christ. I know that Christ lives and that he cares for each and every one of us. I know that the church was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith and that the priesthood is once again on the earth and that the living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, holds all the keys to the church in dispensation. I know that through prayer we can truly talk to our Father in heaven and that He can lead and guide us through the Holy Ghost. I know that the gospel is true and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

While in high school I was able to serve in many church callings. I had the opportunity to serve as a leader for other boys my age and organize many church activities and meetings. I was able to serve others through my callings and bless many lives. I also had the opportunity to be a missionary. I had 3 friends be baptized into the church because of the example set by me and my friends. Now I am called as a full time missionary and hope to continue to serve and convert.
