Hi I'm Madison

I live in Utah and I am about to serve a year and a half mission. I am a mormon.... I know it I live it I love it!

About Me

I am the oldest of six children. There is a pattern two girls a boy two girls a boy. Plus all of us kids have the same letter to begin our names so we all start with M. I love my family very much and we always have a good time together. Someday my desire is to be a wife and mother. But in the mean time I will work on becoming the best me that I can. Some of my hobbies consist of playing soccer and I have played since I was five. Therefore when college came I played soccer for a year then came home to go to school close to home. About a year and a half later I decided to go on a mission for the lord Jesus Christ my savior. My excitement for this new adventure that is about to start cant be contained! I also like to read, I prefer the LDS novels. Another interest is being active in any way, and I love hanging with my friends always laughing to the good times we have together. Dancing is another one of my hobbies that brings me happiness and is a good way to exercise. I also love going to the temple and feeling the spirit that accompanies me there. I love being a MORMON!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but as I have gotten older I have had to learn of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ for myself. With this I know for myself and I know it is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet who restored the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, that he did translate the book of Mormon. I know we have a living prophet today even Thomas S. Monson. He leads and guides this church with the revelation he gets from the Lord. I know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for me and everyone else so that someday we could all return and live with him again. I know my Savior loves me as he loves all his children. I am a child of God and he knows me personally. I know that if we use the atonement that the Lord has provided for us we will be happy and know the true joy of Christ’s sacrifice. I know that the atonement works and is the only true way to be forgiven of our sins. I am grateful for the scriptures we have to read and study, I know that they are the true word of God. And I am grateful for the opportunity I have to come to earth and have this mortal body to be able to prove my worthiness to return to my Heavenly Father. I know this church is true beyond a shadow of a doubt. The teachings of this church help me to be a better person and therefore I will follow him. I know that if we listen and follow the counsel the lord has given we will have happiness that will radiate throughout our countenance. We will become a light to the world that others will want to flock to and follow. Knowing the truth of the gospel, I will stand as a witness at all times in all things and in all places.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I attend my church meetings, and I get the oppertunity to teach the Children of the church. The age I teach is the seven year olds who are turning eight. They are so fun and always put a smile on my face. Sunday evenings I like to attend devotionals which are an hour long where a speakers speak on different topics. Every Monday I participate in what the church calls family home evening. Being a single adult the young single adults get together and we do a fun activity after we have a short gospel message. This brings us closer to friends and helps to meet new people. I also attend institute which is classes that teach about the scriptures and help me to more fully understand the words that are written in these good books. I also twice a week attend the temple to be apart of a wonderful work. I also live my faith by acting upon the things that I learn. Practicing what my religion teaches. Also by performing service for those who are in need. Always lend a helping hand. Be an example so that through you others may want to come to know him (the Lord).
