Hi I'm Greg Baker

I love sports, grew up in Portland, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I was born-and-raised in Portland, OR (City of Roses), served my mission in Sapporo from '96~'98, went to BYU-Hawaii from '99~'03, and then returned back to work in Portland. I finished my Master's degree in 2007 before starting my career at Freightliner/DTNA (Daimler Trucks North America). I now live in Tokyo, Japan working for Fuso, a sister company to Freightliner under the Daimler AG corporate umbrella.

Why I am a Mormon

Through various investigations of churches, I have only found one that answered all my questions. This church is based on continual learning and growth, not by condemnation and relevatory termination.

How I live my faith

No matter what I do, whoever I am with, or which ever day of the week it is I live so that I may be the best son of my Heavely Father. I don't want to let him down, as he has given me so much and I want to show through my actions at all times that I am thankful for what he has done for me.

What is being a Mormon like?

Greg Baker
In one work: Joy. Some people chase fun/success, but it is joy and happiness that defines a Mormon. There is an inner peace when life is based on joy and happiness in whatever situation you find yourself in (work, play, etc.). Show more Show less
