Hi I'm Elder Landon Willard

I´m a Farm-town boy and a San Diego city-slicker. I´m serving as a missionary in Mendoza, Argentina. And I´m a Mormon

About Me

I´m a well-rounded guy who loves to be happy. I love my family, my friends, music, chocolate milk, rain, sandwiches, Christmas, vans shoes, sushi, ties, sports, elk, taking a drive, autumn, dogs, everything about ¡Argentina!, a crazy night with friends, a peaceful night with family, dressing up for a special occasion, satisfaction from a long day of work, and feeling good about myself. I love to play (and have played for years) drums, piano, and guitar. I love playing football, basketball, and baseball. I love to go snowboarding and rock-climbing. I love laughing, making other people laugh, being happy, and helping others to be happy. I have a family consisting of my 5 loving sisters, my wonderful parents, and my 8 cute nieces and nephews. I love all of my family and I´m grateful for their love and support. I was raised in a small-town in Nevada, and taught to be a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have been blessed to be able to serve as a missionary in the Argentina Mendoza Mission. I love to serve others and to help others to feel of the joy that the Gospel of Jesus Christ offers. Through this Gospel, my family and I have been blessed with happiness, joy, unity, love, and peace. As I serve as a missionary, I hope to share this Gospel with others so that they may also experience that come from it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had many great and beneficial experiences in my life. The Lord has blessed me so mercifully. I´m very grateful for my beautiful family, for the life that I´ve been given, my circumstances, to be a missionary, and to have a knowledge of the Restored Gospel. These are just a few of the very many great ways that God has blessed me. I know He knows me. I know He loves me. I have a desire to have a deep and meaningful relationship with my Father in Heaven. I have received a witness through the power of the Holy Ghost that He lives, that He loves me, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His restored church and God´s kingdom of the earth. The teachings found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints help us to become better people and help us to fulfill God´s personal plan for us, which is to eventually through a process of purification, to become like Him and to enjoy all the eternal blessings that He does. He blesses us with this knowledge with a condition of a promise. The Lord promises us is we ask Him if the is true He will manifest the truth unto us. I testify of the truthfullness of this church and the Restored Gospel revealed to the prophet Joseph Smith. Like I said before, I love to be happy, and this Gospel brings joy, peace, and happiness to all.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I´m currently serving as the Secretary of the Argentina Mendoza Mission. I have been put into this assignment by a Mission President who leads and directs the mission, receiving revelation for its benefit. I walk in rain, dirt, and whatever else is in our path, walking, preaching, and sharing the Gospel to all of God´s children. We share teachings of Jesus Christ, or His Gospel, to all who will accept us. We know the Lord´s plan and we are motivated and driven by our desire to share the Gospel because of the wonderful joy and happiness it brings. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone. God´s plan is for everyone. So I will continue to walk, sweat, and do all that I can to share this message of happiness to all.
