Hi I'm Casey Don Tanner

I grew up in Bountiful. I am the father of 4 beautiful daughters and husband to my amazing wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid golfer and enjoy doing pretty much anything outside. I love working with my hands, doing yard work, building and fixing things are satisfying to me. As a father of all daughters I enjoy spending time with them on "daddy-daughter dates". Before my marriage, I served a mission in Lima, Peru. I am fluent in Spanish and I love the Latin culture, food and passion for life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family, but I still needed to be converted. I chose to serve a mission at 19 years old. Those two years of teaching and serving the people of Peru cemented my love for this gospel. I continue to be a member because I know it is the true church of God. I have felt that truth over and over. Living this gospel brings me so much happiness.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church I have had the opportunity to serve and teach others. I spent 5 years with the 14-15 year old young men. It was fun to watch these young men prepare to be men. I spent time teaching the 8 and 9 year old children and felt like I learned more from them then they learned from me. I currently serve as the ward mission leader and get to work alongside the full-time missionaries. This has forced me to look for more opportunities to share my love for this gospel.
