Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Utah. I absolutely love music, and sharing the gospel with others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being in the outdoors. I love to hike, camp and hunt with friends and family. I love to run, swim, play soccer and tennis. Some of my hobbies include running, drawing, performing service, home teaching, and playing music. I can play many instruments, varying from the piano to the flugelhorn and have recently started to learn cello. I love going to seminary everyday, and listening to the words of the prophet. My future career goal is to become an ER Physician and help save peoples lives everyday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Savior. As far back as I can remember, all that I wanted to do is make Jesus proud of me, and wanted to be an example of him. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has so much strength in not only service and standards, but in how close you are brought to know the Savior, Jesus Christ. I love being a member of this faith because I have come to know that my Savior loves me! He is my brother and friend and was willing to do anything for me. Even suffer for all of my sins, giving me the opportunity to repent, and be crucified and die. Because he was not willing to run from his promise, and his commitment to our Father in Heaven. I know that because the Savior passed through the Atonement, I can return to my Heavenly Father one day and live with him forever. I know that through divine power Joseph Smith was ordained a prophet, and then translated the Book of Mormon to stand as another witness of our Savior. I know that we have a living prophet here on earth today, as I have received a witness when I stood in his presence where the spirit testified to me of his divine calling. I know that if we keep the commandments and commit ourselves to the Lord that we will be blessed and prosper. I have a testimony of the power of the Priesthood and am very thankful for the opportunity that I have to bear this sacred power of God. I also know of the influence of prayer. When we communicate with our father in heaven and ask for his help, he does hear you! He will try to do everything in his power to help you, if it is the right thing to do. I also have an unmoving testimony of the importance of families. The family is ordained of God, and is vital to the Plan of Salvation. I love my family and am so thankful to the Lord for allowing me to have the time I have had with them, and their influence on who I am today. I have a testimony that Jesus lives! He will come again, soon! I love Christ and Heavenly Father with all my heart. I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The biggest way that I believe that I live my faith is through service. I serve many people in my community, school, ward, stake, and home. I serve by playing the organ every other Sunday in my ward, as well as being a youth leader for my peers. I also have been a member on a council of youth for the stake that planned dances and wholesome activities for the youth. I also have been the president for many extra curricular activities in my high school where my servant leadership, and upholding of my standards, was beneficial. I also love to serve in the community as much as I can. I help others work in their yard or help in domestic chores like cleaning a kitchen or doing dishes. I love sharing my musical abilities by playing piano music at our local nursing home, for community events, and at many school functions. I live my faith and share what I believe with those around me by performing as much service as I can with a Christ-like Attitude letting others feel the love he has for them, through me.
