Hi I'm Tori Calamity

I'm a small town girl from Utah, I play violin, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm the oldest of three girls, I love them to death, violin is my passion, ever since I was little I always wanted to learn and play the violin, I was given that chance at the age of five and I haven't put it down since, my favorite part is learning a song that people think that I won't be able to accomplish and then proving them wrong and giving it my all. I've been able to use the talents at home, school, church and just about anywhere else you can think of! I love hanging out with my friends whether it's getting hot chocolate on a cold day or having a crazy movie party while eating brownies with a spoon! My family is my biggest cheer leaders, they sacrificed a lot when I left home but I love them for letting me go while I'm serving a mission in the Alabama Birmingham mission, I love living here in Alabama, I never thought I'd be living here, while sharing my testimony with people I don't even know, but it's crazy how quickly you love them and you never want to leave!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I've always liked going to church, but I never really developed my own testimony until my teenage years when I got involved in my youth groups on Sundays and on week days when we had different activities. Also my life changed when I started going to seminary when I was in high school and really learned about the bible and Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission for the church in The Birmingham Alabama mission for 18 months, I love being able to share the gospel with others. Being able to share my testimony and beliefs of the church everyday is something I never thought I'd do but now that I am here I am loving every second of it, I chose to serve a mission because I want to share with people and teach the gospel how the church blesses people individually and families, I also know that the gospel can help you with any challenge or trial that comes to you.
