Hi I'm Lindsay Ochs

I'm from California. I believe in the power of love. I'm serving a mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sister Lindsay Ochs! I am 20 years old. I am from Yucaipa, California and I'm currently serving in the Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission. I love the south and sharing the gospel! I love being happy and looking at the bright side of things!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Book of Mormon is true and the prophet Joseph Smith truly did restore the fullness of the gospel in this dispensation! The things taught and the ordinances administered bless lives because they come from God. I am a Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint is the only true church upon the face of the earth. I have come to a knowledge of these things through prayer. Pray about it with a sincere heart and real intent and you too will get an answer!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus! Every decision I make shows how much I love him and have faith that he lives. I live my faith by looking at the bigger picture. I know where I came from and I know where I want to go. With that goal in mind, I strive to live in a way that will help me reach it. I live my faith by loving all of God's children. Each soul is precious and should be treated that way. I try my best to love as Christ did.

What is being a Mormon like?

Lindsay Ochs
Being a Mormon simply means you are trying to follow the example of Christ. It means that you are always striving for improvement but with the knowledge that you are not perfect. You keep the commitments you have made with your father in heaven. I have found that by following Christ and the council of my church leaders I feel true joy. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Lindsay Ochs
GRACE. What a beautiful thing! Without it we could not return to our Father in Heaven and with it we can accomplish things we never thought we could. It is an enabling power that gives us strength beyond our own. His grace IS sufficient. Show more Show less
